Admission Policy

St. Joseph Catholic School welcomes students of all races, colors, nationalities, and ethnic origins. 

While we proudly serve families from our parish, we are also pleased to welcome students from throughout the greater Tucson area.

The following requirements and criteria help guide our admissions process:

• Kindergarten Eligibility: Children entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 31 to be considered for admission.

• Screening Assessment: All applicants must successfully complete a grade-appropriate screening assessment.

• Required Documents: Parents must provide copies of the following.

  • Child’s birth certificate

  • Immunization record

  • Baptismal Certificate, if applicable

  • Prior school report cards and records for students entering 1st–8th grade

  • Emergency Medical Information and Immunization Form, must be completed in full before registration can be finalized

Priority consideration is given to students who have siblings currently enrolled at St. Joseph Catholic School.
