At St. Joseph Catholic School, family involvement is an important part of our school community. Through the Parental Obligation Program, each family is required to complete a minimum of 40 volunteer hours per school year, including five hours specifically for Fiesta.
Volunteering provides valuable support to our school and parish while helping keep tuition costs reasonable. More importantly, your involvement helps sustain the quality programs our students need and deserve while giving parents opportunities to connect with teachers, staff, and other families.
Each family is responsible for completing 40 volunteer hours per school year.
5 of the 40 hours must be completed for the annual school fiesta.
All volunteers must be cleared through the school’s compliance process before volunteering during school hours or driving for field trips. Please visit the compliance page for requirements and instructions.
Parents are responsible for completing, signing, and submitting a Family Service (Volunteer) Hours Form to the school office.
Volunteer hours may be carried over from one trimester to the next.
Families may complete hours in advance.
Please refer to the Parent/Student Handbook for complete details about the Parental Obligation Program.
